On one side is a useful tourist information office offering WIFI. There is a large norman church, which hosts regular exhibitions by local artists. The road slopes to the Thirteen Arches bridge which spans the tidal rive. This opens up into a large waterway at high tide as it meanders to the river mouth and the sea. Sailing boats and kayaks can be hired from the sailing club. A cycle way runs along the coast and a myriad of footbaths run across the sand-dunes to Lindburgh plage.
